Dell’s keynote highlighted expected applications ranging from AI-assisted collaboration to accelerated data processing securely on edge, promising advanced features never before seen in the commercial laptop market. The Latitude series sits at the intersection of Dell’s EaaS (Everything as a Service) solutions and an increasingly mobile yet cloud-integrated workforce.
Dell presents its new Latitude 7350 and 9450 at MWC
The Latitude 7350 Detachable offers impressive versatility, functioning as a 13-inch standalone tablet and as a laptop when connected to the keyboard. Powered by an Intel Core Ultra processor, it supports up to 32GB of RAM and 2TB SSD storage. With Windows 11 onboard, it delivers powerful performance and is easily maintainable, featuring removable batteries and displays, as well as support for SSD and wireless network card upgrades.
On the other hand, the Latitude 9450 2-in-1 stands out as the world’s smallest 14-inch commercial PC. Its QHD+ screen can be rotated for use as a large tablet, and it supports Intel Core Ultra processors, up to 2TB SSD storage, and up to 64GB of RAM. The Mini-LED technology in its backlit keyboard reduces energy consumption by up to 75%, extending battery life. This model also introduces the Zero-Lattice keyboard, featuring wide, curved keys for improved tactile response.
Dell has announced that the new Latitude laptops and 2-in-1 series will be released in March. Meanwhile, the Latitude 7350 Detachable is scheduled to go on sale in the second quarter of 2024. While the price has not yet been disclosed, there is high anticipation among professionals seeking the latest technology and mobility.
