Dell has officially announced five new laptops that will be released in 2024 featuring Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon processors. After numerous rumors and leaks, we finally confirmed the models incorporating these powerful chips.
Qualcomm’s new processors will power the laptops Dell has confirmed: the Inspiron 14, Inspiron 14 Plus, XPS 13 (9345), Latitude 7455, and Latitude 5455. This diverse lineup covers consumer and business-oriented devices, catering to many users.
The announcement of five different models equipped with Qualcomm’s processors has surprised the industry, demonstrating Dell’s commitment to embracing this new technology. Not only is the sheer number of devices impressive, but the fact that some of these laptops’ configurations have already been revealed adds to the excitement.

Specifications of some of the laptops that Dell will launch with a Qualcomm chip
As previously mentioned, Dell is set to release five new laptops in the coming months. They’ve also shared details about some of these models.
First up, the Dell XPS 13 (9345) will feature a Qualcomm processor, specifically the 13-core Snapdragon X Elite with Dual Core Boost technology. There will also be a version with the 10-core Snapdragon X Plus, but this will be available only in China. The storage options include configurations supporting up to 64 GB of memory and up to 2 TB PCIe SSD, with plans to offer up to 4 TB later.
The XPS 13 will offer three screen options, all around 13.4 inches. One model will have a non-touch IPS panel with a 1920 x 1200 resolution, 500 nits brightness, and a 120Hz refresh rate. Another feature will be an IPS touch screen with a 2560 x 1600 resolution, 500 nits, and 120Hz. Finally, a model with a 400 nits OLED panel will offer a 2880 x 1800 HDR resolution at 60Hz.
All XPS 13 models will include a 1080p webcam with Windows Hello compatibility, a USB4 type C port, and DisplayPort 2.1 with Power Delivery. The OLED model will be thinner, and all versions will weigh about 1.17 kg.
Next, the Dell Latitude 7455 will come in versions with the Snapdragon X Elite and X Plus. It will support up to 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB of M.2 2230 SSD storage. It will have several ports, including a USB type A 3.2 Gen 1, two USB4 Type C ports, an audio connector, and a microSD slot.
The Latitude 7455 will also feature Windows Hello compatibility, an optional fingerprint reader, and a uSIM tray for 5G connectivity. Its screen will be a 14-inch IPS panel with a 2560 x 1600 resolution.
The Inspiron 14 Plus will have the 10-core Snapdragon X Plus chip, 16 GB of RAM, and storage options ranging from 512 GB to 1 TB M.2 SSD. Its display will be a 14-inch IPS, non-touch panel with a 2560 x 1600 resolution and a webcam compatible with Windows Hello.
