GeForce RTX 5060 Ti Expected to Match RTX 4060 Ti’s Price Point

By Aayush

With the exception of the upcoming RTX 5090, the rest of the RTX 50 series GPU lineup has so far launched at lower prices than their previous-gen counterparts. However, that trend might not continue for the entry-level segment. According to a new rumor from Board Channels, the upcoming RTX 5060 Ti and its variants are expected to launch at the same price point as the RTX 4060 Ti.

Like its predecessor, the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti is rumored to come in 8GB and 16GB memory versions. Pricing is expected to be $399 for the 8GB model and $499 for the 16GB version. That means the higher memory variant could cost just $50 less than the RTX 5070, raising questions about value and positioning in the product lineup.

Of course, these are theoretical prices. In reality, finding GPUs at MSRP remains a challenge, as actual retail prices often vary based on demand, availability, and regional factors.

GeForce RTX 5060 Ti arrives in April.

The RTX 5060 Ti is rumored to launch later this April, although Nvidia has yet to confirm the existence of the GPU officially. The same goes for the RTX 5060, which is expected to be mainstream PC gamers’ next go-to graphics card and may debut this month.

Leaked information so far suggests that the entire GeForce 60-series Blackwell lineup will feature GDDR7 memory, paired with a 128-bit memory bus and speeds up to 28 Gbps—matching other models in the lineup, except the RTX 5070 Ti, which is expected to push speeds to 30 Gbps.

This segment is arguably the most anticipated in the entire RTX 50 family, as it typically offers the best value for gamers and tends to dominate the market. The GeForce RTX 5060 is expected to become the new standard for 1080p gaming, especially when combined with DLSS 4. Meanwhile, the RTX 5060 Ti is shaping up to be a strong performer at 1440p, with potential for 4K gaming or high frame rates using upscaling and frame generation technologies.

As for AMD, there’s still no official word on a direct competitor in this entry-level space. However, the company has already hinted at the existence of a Radeon RX 9060 during the announcement of its RDNA 4 GPU architecture so that we may hear more from the red team soon.
