The era of AI-powered computers, often called Copilot+ PCs, is gaining significant traction among users, with more manufacturers embracing this technology. This time, Honor has joined the trend.
As confirmed by the team at Neowin, Honor recently announced that they are developing a Copilot+ PC laptop packed with exciting and noteworthy features. Here’s what we know so far.
Honor prepares a Copilot+ PC with Snapdragon
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X series processors for Windows on ARM have been a resounding success, and Honor’s decision to use them in its first Copilot+ PC laptops reinforces their growing popularity.
To everyone’s surprise, Honor has unveiled the MagicBook Art 14, a remarkably thin laptop powered by Snapdragon. This model also boasts an OLED display and a detachable magnetic webcam, adding a unique touch to its design.
According to details shared by Neowin, the MagicBook Art 14 features a stunning 14-inch OLED display with a resolution of 3120 x 2080 pixels and a maximum brightness of 700 nits. The screen design is equally impressive, with rounded corners and ultra-thin bezels. The bezels are so slim that there’s no space for a built-in webcam, hence the detachable magnetic option.
Honor has introduced an innovative magnetic 1080p webcam that can be easily attached to the laptop to address the lack of a built-in webcam.
The MagicBook Art 14 also comes equipped with a 60 Wh battery, which the brand claims provides over 9 hours of intensive use. Connectivity options are robust, featuring two USB-C ports, one USB-A port, HDMI, and an audio jack. It also supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 for seamless wireless connectivity.
The laptop is available exclusively in gray and houses a powerful 12-core Snapdragon processor paired with 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. Priced at approximately €1,700, the purchase includes enticing extras like the Honor Pad 9 tablet and Honor Earbuds X6.
The MagicBook Art 14 has additional features to enhance usability and convenience. It includes a fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button, a backlit keyboard for low-light usage, and an impressive six-speaker system for immersive audio. Additionally, the laptop supports fast charging, ensuring minimal downtime during busy schedules.
A standout feature is the integration of MagicRing functionality, which allows seamless pairing and connectivity with other Honor devices directly via the trackpad, streamlining the user experience within the Honor ecosystem.
The MagicBook Art 14 is available for reservation in select countries, including Italy, France, and Germany, and can be pre-ordered through Honor’s official website.
