With a Recent Update, it is possible to use WhatsApp Web in dark mode. You can use dark mode in the desktop version of WhatsApp, but it’s not made official yet. However, dark mode is already present on the mobile versions available for iOS and Android.
The developers have made it known that the new official version of WhatsApp Web will be available shortly with the dark mode. However, if you don’t want to wait, there is a very simple way to enable dark mode on our browser.

How to enable dark mode in WhatsApp Web
Here are the instructions to enable WhatsApp Web in dark mode :
- Open WhatsApp Web from your PC or Mac;
- log in via QR Code ;
- once you enter the app move to the extreme edges, it is indifferent whether right or left and with the right button select Inspect ;
- you can see that a particular window has opened, scroll to the top and go to the <body class = “web”> line in Elements ;
- To activate the dark mode, just change the string seen earlier in <body class = “web dark”> and press Enter.
This will enable the dark mode on your WhatsApp Web.
