Released in September 2000, Movie Maker is the video editor developed by Microsoft that was very successful 10 years ago. The program was replaced by Story Remix, multimedia editing software that edits photos and videos directly from the Windows 10 Photos application.

1: Go to the Windows Live Essentials downloads page on the Windows Internet Archive. Click “Windows Executable” on the right side of the screen. The download will start.
2: open the file and click “Yes” to start the installation.
3: after following the steps, click on “Choose the programs you want to install”.
4: Check “Photo Gallery & Movie Maker” or other extra programs you want to install and click “Install”.
5: Wait until Movie Maker and other selected applications are installed. At the end of installing the programs, click “Close” to end the installation wizard.
6: to open and use Movie Maker, access the list of programs in the Windows 10 “Start” menu.
