Are you facing frame rate drops while playing League of Legends? Does your FPS drop drastically when using certain high-graphics skills?
We’ll show you an easy way to boost your FPS in LoL.
Importance of having high FPS in LoL
Frames per second, often called FPS, are crucial in competitive games like League of Legends. Having a high FPS, like 60 frames per second, is important because it makes the game smoother, especially during intense battles.
While some players can do well with a lower FPS, having a high FPS is essential for the best gaming experience.
How to increase FPS in LoL
You can easily make League of Legends run smoother by adjusting some settings to increase your FPS (frames per second). It’s best to do this in training mode because the game might briefly pause when you make these changes. Here’s how to do it:
- Hit the ESC key to open the LoL settings.
- On the video tab, look for the bar where it says Graphics.
- Increase and decrease as your FPS increases.
- Press OK and close the options tab.
You can also make your game run better by using Borderless mode, which is like playing in a window, but it covers the whole screen.
Keep in mind that other things can make your FPS lower. If you’re playing on a computer or laptop without a good graphics card, the game might not run as well.
If you have multiple programs running while playing LoL, like Discord, it can slow down your computer and cause the game to have fewer frames per second (FPS).
