LinkedIn has introduced a new AI tool that’s available to subscribers, and it’s designed to assist people in their job search. This tool involves a chatbot powered by Microsoft and OpenAI’s GPT-4 language model.

The chatbot can answer questions about job listings and offer advice to help candidates enhance their profiles. In essence, it acts like a job search coach, assessing job opportunities on the platform and evaluating how well candidates match these positions.

AI helps you find a job.

LinkedIn’s new AI chatbot can help users decide if a job is a good fit and offer suggestions to improve their chances. It can provide details about a company and show you who else works there.

This tool helps you understand job listings, get feedback on your professional background, and find news about the job market. But keep in mind it’s available only for LinkedIn Premium subscribers.

AI for Recruitment

On the flip side of the hiring process, LinkedIn introduced AI in October to assist recruiters in finding the right talent. Called Recruiter 2024. This tool enables HR teams to describe the experience level and the professional they seek using natural language commands.

The AI can examine the user’s network and offer suggestions for the most suitable candidates for the job. It considers factors like location, past work experiences, and other criteria that recruiters consider important for their selection process.
