Some time ago, Microsoft strategically decided to establish a special task force known as CoreAI. This division is dedicated to creating tools and platforms that empower developers to build AI-enabled apps.
Jay Parikh, former head of engineering at Meta, was brought on board to lead this team. However, the CoreAI team isn’t stopping there—according to MSPowerUser, Microsoft is actively recruiting additional talent to strengthen its efforts.
Microsoft has opened job offers to join the CoreAI team
As previously mentioned, MSPowerUser has discovered that Microsoft is advertising new positions on its Careers site to expand the CoreAI team. Two notable roles include Chief Data Scientist and Senior Data Scientist, who will join the Insights and Experimentation team within CoreAI. Additionally, these positions offer the flexibility of working fully remotely.
The Lead Data Scientist will be responsible for leading all experimentation efforts, mentoring other data scientists, and developing best practices for A/B testing. Meanwhile, the Senior Data Scientist will focus on scalable frameworks and building tools for data control and visualization.
Regarding qualifications, Microsoft is looking for candidates with different levels of experience. Applicants for the Senior Data Scientist role need at least one year of experience, while those applying for the Lead Data Scientist position must have over five years of relevant experience.
This news confirms that Microsoft is actively growing its CoreAI team by recruiting specialists in various areas. These additions are expected to bring significant benefits to future AI-driven development projects.
