A few days ago, we shared information from Zac Bowden indicating that Microsoft would unveil the new Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6 this month. Now, Microsoft has officially confirmed that the event will take place on March 21. The event, themed “The New Era of Work,” will showcase new features in Windows 11, Copilot, and Surface, highlighting the central role of artificial intelligence.
Copilot, Windows, and Surface take center stage
Regarding the Surface lineup, the key update revolves around the processors, particularly with the introduction of the new Intel Core Ultra and Snapdragon, which offers superior performance, especially with the ARM processor.
Models equipped with Intel processors will be available starting in April, while those featuring Qualcomm processors will be released in June. This delay is likely because they will come with a pre-installed version of Windows 11 24H2, the upcoming major update focused on artificial intelligence.
During the event, it’s expected that Microsoft will unveil some artificial intelligence-related updates for Windows 11 and Copilot. One of the anticipated features is an “AI Explorer,” which acts as an advanced Copilot capable of transforming our PC interactions into data that we can interact with using natural language.
