The GeForce RTX 50 series has faced several issues since launch, with one of the most notable being random black screens experienced by some GPU owners. To address this, NVIDIA has released the Game Ready 572.60 driver, which aims to fix this issue along with other improvements.
In addition to stability fixes, the new driver brings DLSS 4 support for Naraka: Bladepoint and optimizations for Monster Hunter Wilds.
According to the patch notes, the update resolves “various black screen problems,” though NVIDIA hasn’t provided specific details on the root cause. However, the company previously acknowledged the issue and had been actively investigating it—leading to the release of this driver update.
NVIDIA DRIVER 572.60 DRIVER
If you’re playing Naraka: Bladepoint with one of NVIDIA’s new Blackwell GPUs, you can now push performance to incredible levels with DLSS 4. According to NVIDIA’s tests, an RTX 5090 can run the game at 4K with up to 600 FPS, while an RTX 5080 can exceed 300 FPS. Lowering the resolution to 1080p, the 5090 reaches nearly 1,000 FPS—an astonishing feat.
The Game Ready 572.60 driver also adds support for 29 new G-Sync monitors ranging from 23 to 45 inches, from brands like Acer, AOC, Asus, LG, Dell, and Philips. Additionally, as mentioned earlier, it introduces optimizations for Monster Hunter Wilds on GeForce RTX GPUs.
Despite these advancements, the RTX 50 series launch has been plagued with various issues. Some, like black screen errors, overheating 16-pin power cables, and rendering bugs, directly impact users. Others, like hardware shortages and delays in restocking, have made it difficult for some gamers to get their hands on these GPUs.
