Project Strawberry, formerly known as Q (Q Star), was designed to solve complex problems that existing models cannot effectively address.
Performance leap in AI

In addition to improved math skills, the Strawberry model can handle more subjective questions if given extra time to “think,” according to sources cited by The Information. This feature could significantly enhance the model’s ability to tackle complex problems.
An important aspect of Project Strawberry is its role in developing Orion, OpenAI’s upcoming large-scale language model. The larger version of Strawberry is being used to generate synthetic data to train new AI models. This synthetic data helps address OpenAI’s challenges in acquiring high-quality, real-world data.
