On Tuesday, Google held its biggest annual event and introduced six new devices. This included four new phones in the Pixel 9 series, the Pixel Watch 3, and the Pixel Buds Pro 2 earbuds.

Pixel 9 and 9 Pro

The Pixel 9 and 9 Pro phones are the latest updates to Google’s famous flagship line. They come with several key improvements, including enhanced AI features. One standout is the integration with Gemini, which helps generate dynamic text responses.

Pixel 9 Pro XL

The Pro XL model is a new addition to the Pixel line, and it stands out with its larger 6.8-inch screen. Unlike the Pro model with its 6.3-inch display, the Pro XL features a more powerful 42 MP front camera, compared to the 10 MP on the standard Pixel 9.

The bigger size also means it has a larger 5,060 mAh battery. It supports fast charging at 45 W, which can charge the battery up to 70% in just 30 minutes.

Pixel 9 Pro Fold

After releasing its first foldable phone in May last year, Google has introduced the second generation with the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.

This new foldable stands out with its slim design, measuring just 5.1 mm when opened. It also features a larger 8-inch internal screen, up from 7.6 inches in the previous model.

The Pixel Watch also introduces new health and wellness features. One is Target Load, which lets you set specific workout goals like pace, distance, and intensity. The watch will vibrate and make sounds to help you stay on track.

A new safety feature, pulse loss detection, can make emergency calls if it detects an interruption in your heartbeat.

Additionally, the watch integrates more seamlessly with smart home devices via Google Home, allowing you to view security camera footage directly on the watch screen.

Pixel Buds Pro 2

Google’s new premium headphones are now available and feature the Tensor A1 chip, which supports more advanced AI capabilities. This lets you have voice conversations with the Gemini assistant and receive real-time responses. According to Google, the headphones also boast noise cancellation that’s twice as effective.

Google’s new products will be available in the United States soon.
