Reality Redemption mod is available for Red Dead Redemption on PC

The Reality Redemption mod for Red Dead Redemption, created by modder “BadassBaboon,” is now available for PC users as of October 29th, offering a deeper level of realism to the game’s iconic Wild West setting. Initially crafted for the Xbox 360 version (playable on PC via the Xenia emulator) and adapted for the Nintendo Switch remaster, the mod brings visual enhancements and gameplay improvements beyond surface-level aesthetics.

Though a technical issue initially delayed the PC release, BadassBaboon resolved it, and the mod is now accessible to players. Here’s a breakdown of what the *Reality Redemption* mod brings to the PC version:

  • Enhances the reality of reflections
  • Improves draw distance to vegetation

  • Improves particle and particle counting

  • Improves physics for liquids like water
