Realme has expanded its lineup by launching the 5G version of the C63, an affordable smartphone initially introduced in May. This new model brings advanced 5G connectivity, a new processor, and IP64-rated protection against water and dust.
The Realme C63 5G swaps out the Unisoc processor found in the 4G version for a MediaTek Dimensity 6300, the same chip used in other Realme devices like the Narzo N65 5G.
However, not all features have seen an upgrade. The 4G model’s standout 45W fast charging capability has been downgraded to a basic 10W system for the 5,000mAh battery in the 5G version.
The camera setup has also been adjusted, with the 50 MP rear camera on the 4G model replaced by a 32 MP primary sensor, supported by a secondary sensor. The device offers an 8 MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
The display resembles the 4G variant, featuring a 6.67-inch IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate.
Running on Android 14 with Realme’s own UI 5.0, the C63 5G promises up to 48 months of smooth performance, ensuring its longevity.
Price and availability
Realme has officially launched the C63 5G in India, with availability expected to expand to other countries in the coming weeks. The smartphone will be offered in two color choices: gold and green.
The base model with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage is priced at 10,999 Indian rupees (approximately Rs. 721 in direct conversion). A higher-end variant with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage will also be available for 12,999 rupees.
