S25 Leaks Hint at Major Screen Advancements

By Aayush

A new image shared by leaker Ice Universe reveals what are believed to be the first units of Samsung’s Galaxy S25 series, showcasing the front design of the devices, with notable updates for the Ultra model. The Ultra stands out with more rounded edges than its predecessor, which should enhance comfort during prolonged use.

Previous leaks suggest that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will feature a 6.9-inch screen, similar in size to the iPhone 16 Pro Max. Additionally, all three models in the Galaxy S25 lineup are expected to have thinner bezels, though the Ultra’s bezels will reportedly be 0.2 mm thicker around the display.

Rumors indicate that all models in the series will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 or Snapdragon 8 Elite processors, as Samsung’s Exynos 2500 chipset has reportedly not met the required quality standards for the S25 line.

Earlier leaked images of a dummy unit showed the Ultra’s rear design, including its camera arrangement. Benchmark tests on Geekbench also suggest that the Galaxy S25 Ultra may outperform the iPhone 16 Pro, largely due to its next-gen processor.

However, one area that may not see an upgrade is battery life, with the S25 Ultra expected to retain a 5,000 mAh battery, while some Chinese competitors are moving toward capacities over 6,000 mAh.

The official launch of the Galaxy S25 series is rumored to be set for January 2025, with more details likely to emerge from leaks in the coming months.
