Samsung has announced a significant update for the Quick Share app on Galaxy devices, doubling the daily file-sharing limit. Users can now share up to 10GB per day (or per file) using links or QR codes, up from the previous limit of 5 GB.
This update is particularly beneficial for professionals who regularly handle large files, such as graphic designers, video editors, and photographers, as it makes the sharing process more practical and convenient.
The new feature is included in version 13.6.51.13 of Quick Share. The update is being distributed gradually through the Galaxy Store and is expected to reach all users within the next few days.
Improvements in device identification
In addition to increasing the sharing limit, the latest Quick Share update includes enhancements to device identification and user interface. Device names now appear on two lines, making it easier to identify the recipient device correctly. Furthermore, the incoming file transfer pop-up window now shows the total size of the files, offering more clarity to the user.
These improvements not only enhance the sharing capabilities of Quick Share but also provide a more transparent and more user-friendly interface. With these updates, Samsung continues to improve the functionality and ease of use of Quick Share for Galaxy device users.
