By Aayush

Valve recently revealed the top 100 best-selling games on Steam in 2024, highlighting the most popular experiences that captivated players throughout the year. Although exact sales figures weren’t disclosed, Valve confirmed that the list represents the “highest gross revenues of the year.”

The games are categorized into four tiers: Platinum (1st to 12th place), Gold (13th to 24th place), Silver (25th to 50th place), and Bronze (51st to 100th place). It’s also worth noting that some of the titles on the list are “free-to-play,” suggesting that their expansions and downloadable content (DLCs) saw a significant number of purchases.

Among the best-sellers are high-profile games such as Black Myth: Wukong, Baldur’s Gate III, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, along with a number of other major releases. Interestingly, Elden Ring, initially released in 2022, also made the list due to the massive popularity of its expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree, which launched in June 2024.
