Twitch is now trying something similar to what we see happening on TikTok. Amazon’s streaming service recently said it’s testing a new way to find things on its platform. It’s like a vertical feed, just like how TikTok shows content.
The company talked about this in a post they made. They’re trying it out with a few users. They want to see how it works and what people think about it. They’re using this test to help their computer program learn and hear from users.
Our first Discovery Feed experiment starts rolling out to select users today
This limited experience will help us train our algorithm & get your feedback
Feature Clips after every stream to get discovered in the Feed, even if you’re not in the experiment

TikTok Could be the Reason for It
Starting in 2020, TikTok became super famous for its short videos, kind of like how Vine used to be. Other platforms have noticed this and made changes, too. Spotify added TikTok-like features, Instagram changed things around (even though they went back on some changes), and Google created YouTube Shorts, similar to TikTok.
These significant changes happened because TikTok became prominent, and other platforms wanted to try similar things to keep up. Twitch is the latest to do this. They’re trying a new way to find things on their platform, like TikTok’s style. But it’s still new and being tested, so it might take a while before many people can use it.
