Expected to be one of Vivo Mobile’s upcoming flagship phones, the Vivo X200 Pro is anticipated to continue the legacy of the current Ultra model by introducing an upgraded zoom camera. According to information from the leaker Digital Chat Station on Weibo, this camera will feature a significantly enhanced 200 MP sensor.
Rumored specifications for this camera include a sensor size of 1/1.4 inches and an aperture of f/2.67, suggesting it will use the same component found in the Vivo X100 Ultra, released in May.
Like other recent Vivo releases, the X200 Pro is likely to be equipped with a proprietary image processor. This, combined with the high-resolution sensor, implies that the smartphone will emphasize the zoom camera as a key feature, positioning the device prominently in the premium market.
The main camera is also rumored to have a 50 MP sensor with an aperture of f/1.57. Made by Sony, this component is expected to have a larger sensor size of 1/1.28 inches and be produced using a 22 nm process, an improvement over the previous 40 nm process. This advancement should enhance the phone’s photo and video capabilities.
In terms of performance, the X200 Pro is set to include the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor, which has been rumored to deliver up to 35% better performance compared to the Dimensity 9300.
While the exact launch date for the X200 Pro remains uncertain, it’s speculated to be released around the last quarter of 2024, approximately a year after its predecessor. More information is likely to surface as the release date approaches.
