WhatsApp Introduces Dashboard for Channel Performance Tracking

By Aayush

WhatsApp has begun rolling out a new metrics page that provides insights on reach, growth, and channel followers as of Tuesday (1st). This feature, however, is currently limited to participants in the Beta program.

The update was discovered by WABetaInfo in the app’s versions 2.24.21.8 for Android and 24.20.10.71 for iOS.

The new “Insights” section for channels offers detailed analytics from the last 30 days, organized into three tabs:

  • Range: This tab displays the channel’s reach, featuring a graph that illustrates the impact among followers and non-followers, along with regions where the engagement is highest.
  • Growth: This section shows a graph depicting follower growth over time.
  • Followers: This tab provides the total number of followers and their geographic distribution.

The goal of these insights is to help content creators better understand the impact of their posts and assess audience engagement.

As of now, this tool is not available to the general public, according to tests conducted by All Tech Nerd, and there is no timeline for when it will be rolled out in the final version of WhatsApp.
