Google released the first beta version of Android 15 in April 2024, followed by the second version in May. The company is expected to launch two more test versions between June and August to prepare for the operating system’s official launch.

Google has expanded the availability of the Android 15 beta to include devices beyond just the Pixel lineup. According to the Android developers page, several high-end devices from different brands are compatible with the Android 15 Beta. Here’s a list of phones compatible with Android 15.

How to install Android 15 Beta
If you have one of the devices compatible with the test version of the OS and are interested in trying it out, then follow these instructions:
- Access the Android Beta Program (google.com/android/beta);
- Tap “View your eligible devices”;
- Select your model;
- Download the update;
- Open your phone settings;
- Access “System Update” in the “System” menu;
- Update your phone and restart.
When will Android 15 be released?
According to the calendar released by Google, the final version of Android 15 is expected to be released after July, in the second half of this year.
